Prior to opening Midwest Medical, Angela started her career as a registered nurse in Northwestern Memorial’s Chicagoland network of hospitals, first in the oncology and palliative unit, followed by cardiac intensive care. She expanded her knowledge base and skill set in her next position as a Family Nurse Practitioner in a busy Chicagoland medical clinic. There, she learned the ins and outs of provider-monitored primary care, weight loss treatment and also expanded her role to aesthetic nursing.After 15 years in the field, Angela’s solid foundation in all aspects of medicine prompted her to venture out on her own. In 2019, Angela retained her Full Practice Authority License and opened Midwest Medical, Weight Loss and Aesthetics, LLC where she can provide the time and personalized care that patients deserve. Angela received her Bachelor’s of Nursing from Aurora University in Aurora, IL, followed by her Masters of Science in Nursing and subsequently her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL. She belongs to numerous professional organizations, including the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, The Illinois Society of Advance Practice Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society and the American Nurses Association. She is also certified in Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy.

When she’s not treating patients, Angela loves spending time with her husband, two young children and family dogs.
